I came across the very top photo this weekend and remembered my obsession with butler's pantries and how perfectly it ties to my obsession with Downton Abbey.

What exactly is a butler's pantry? Also called a serving pantry, it is a small service and storage room between a kitchen and a dining room, primarily used to store serving items, rather than food.
